Anne and Charles   Written by LeeAnne (10/13/2008 8:38 a.m.)
Are you new?

Suppose for a moment that Anne had married Charles when he asked her. He was propertied, after all, and would have been a decent match for her. How do you think they would have gotten on together? One part of me says "Charles is a good bloke, and has a real nice family. Anne would have been happy." The other part of me says "He seems to spend all his time hunting. Does he ever do anything as enlightened as to sit down and read poetry? Would they have had anything in common? Does it matter?"

Remembering that Anne thought that CW was gone forever, do you think she would have done well to accept Charles?
