that description of Sir Walter. In many ways he may be the easiest character in any JA to track so he is strictly one dimensional. We think there must be a picture of Sir Walter in the dictonary under entry for "Vanity"!

Focussing on Anne is showing up her complexities, and I love the fact we get to "hear" what is going on for her, as painful as it is.
