It is ironic that while I am somewhat systematic and organized in my day job, I had somehow failed to translate that into tackling a JA quiz!

Honestly, when I saw all those questions, I was overwhelmed :-) I've never been to England, I don't know all those places, and the Gazetter is so full of information it's an adventure in itself. I do hope it will be around for a very long time so I can take a more leisurely approach to enjoying it.

So, Sandi J, I appreciate your suggested approach, which I think is very logical. I also like Cheryl's idea of jotting down place names and looking them up in the Gazetteer.
