Which begs the question whether Mrs Croft KNEW anything about the connections between Frederick and Anne prior to all this. I know the Crofts were at sea. But did CW ever confided in his sister Sophy any of his heartbreaks? I ask that because how could this ONE estate be *the* one for them? The coincidence is astonishig...
