If I may, step by step instructions   Written by LeeAnne (10/9/2008 8:01 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Help!!, penned by Deborah Julia
Are you new?

Hello Deborah Julia.

Here's how the Mad-lib works. Two or more people play. One person has a sentence or passage in mind and deletes certain words. For example, I have the phrase:

"It sometimes happens, that a woman is handsomer at twenty-nine than she was ten years before,"

and I delete certain words

"It sometimes happens, that a (kind of animal) is handsomer at (age) than she was (period of time) before,"

then I ask you to name a kind of animal, an age, and a period of time. You may respond:

kind of animal- cat
age- 100 years
a period of time- one second

Then I reinsert your answers into my sentence,

"It sometimes happens, that a cat is handsomer at 100 years than she was one second before,"

Then you have a funny twist on the original text.

Cheryl is taking a large passage from Persuasion, and asking us to come up with words to insert into the passage. She needs 10 nouns, 6 adjectives, 5 emotions, etc. There are a lot of words she needs, so plenty of people can participate. Get it? I've got a funny one for Misc. :)
