Loved seeing the pages of an actual lease (Christopher Plummer - LOL!).

I wondered how specific Sir Walter would (or could) be. It looks like Mrs Croft was quite involved and would see that she got what was fair - "asked more questions about the house, and terms, and taxes, than the Admiral himself, and seemed more conversant with business;" (ch. 5) I can't see Sir Walter poring over long documents so I'm quite sure Mrs Croft got what she wanted. ;-)
