Not nobility Written by Cheryl (10/6/2008 7:26 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, I've wondered about JA and baronets -- L&T, penned by Cathy Allen

A baronet isn't a part of the nobility, but rather is the highest hereditary title a commoner can achieve. So yes, true nobility would look down on him and not consider him one of them, but he is the "cream" of the commoners. ;-)
