As often as I read Persuasion(my favorite) I am always perplexed by the finances represented. What sort of income can Sir Walter expect in Rent from Kellynch? I have trouble getting a feel for his regular income. I know people disagree on the expectations of the daughters(10,000 versus a third of that figure)I am hoping for some information that will clarify things for me.
