I also made a note of the name quote while I was reading. I wonder if she got her name as well as her looks and personality from her mother? It could be her mother's mother's name. That would make sense that her name as well as all else would tie her more directly to her mother than to the Elliots. I think it's also evidence of the strong influence her mother exibits over her even after 13 years.
