Here are two more that I'd class as "A period of maturity verging on decline."

Elizabeth has been eligible and a leader in society for 13 years. That period could be called the summer of her life. But now: she felt her approach to the years of danger -- ch1.

The Elliots' lifestyle has had a 'summer' of comfort, firstly during Lady Elliot's lifetime, and then continuing while Sir Walter could still cheerfully ignore his mounting debts, but now times are a-changing and he's growing distressed for money -- ch1.
