Exactly!   Written by Helen Kaye (10/6/2008 3:18 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, If she could change through misfortune, penned by Susan Elizabeth
Are you new?

Well said! Elizabeth cannot be a heroine in my opinion mostly because she is too narrow-minded and obstinate to change the way she acts and, more importantly, the way she sees herself and others. I do not believe in her strong attraction to Mr. William Elliot, either. I think the only person Elizabeth could really love was Elizabeth. That being the case, she couldn’t answer the description of a romantic heroine as far as I’m concerned.
