I also think Persuasion is the perfect name for this book. I thought I read somewhere JA wanted the opinions of family and friends on her stories and they were allowed to read the manuscript and would listen to suggestions from them on the title of the book. If my recollection of this is correct Persuasion might have been picked anyway but I just cannot pin where this idea has come from. :)
