I have to agree on all accounts. But there is one thing that allows me to tolerate this version. It's that it is longer and delves deeper into the story. I have a longer time to agonize over whether they will get together or not! And I love the parts after their reunion, thier walk, the party, his interaction with LR, and the silliness of Mr. E and Ms. S. It is a nice change when I want to see a different perspective of the characters.

But, being a nurse by profession, I would encourage keeping an emesis basin handy until Louisa plops down! =-)
