In cancelled Chapter 10, I do like the silent but very powerful dialogue and the slow taking of Anne’s hand and pressing it, also the “looking at her with all the Power & Keeness, which she believed no other eyes than his, possessed” but it is too quick and I have to agree it does not equal the letter. I always wondered where the scene in P2 about the Kellynch lease came from; I must confess I had not read the cancelled chapters before this group read. I do not really think this scene added much to the movie except to show FW jealous again. It also gave Lady Russell an opportunity to talk to FW for a moment but in the novel she would have avoided him like the plague.
