P1   Written by Cheryl (10/31/2005 12:11 a.m.)
Are you new?

I just finished watching the first half of P1 and I'm making it through the clothing and hairdos just fine - I must be hardened to it. But what I am finding intolerable is Louisa Musgrove's constant giggling and clinging to Captain Wentworth. I tell you, I was looking forward to her jumping off the Cobb and breaking her head, if only because I knew her mouth would be closed. Oy!

Speaking of Louisa's great leap - it was really kind of tame and flat. Nobody seemed terribly upset, voices were calm, no movement. Very wooden acting I thought.

I was also disappointed that they didn't have little Charles' dislocated collarbone or little Walter on Anne's back. I thought I remembered them being in this adaptation, but I was wrong.

What have I liked so far? hmmmm.... I'll have to think on it and get back to you. ;-)
