I think Mr. Elliot.. Written by Reeba (10/28/2005 2:10 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Mrs Clay and Mr Elliot, penned by Cheryl

was totally focussed on the 'immediate' and had no other thought, but of removing Mrs. Clay from there as speedily as possible.

I don't think he really knows what to do with her.
I would like to see him get out of this sticky situation.

Perhaps he will exploit the 'affections' that Mrs. Clay has, and mould her as he wants.
After all she did let affections overpower her interests once, and may continue to do so.

On the other hand, luck may favour him a second time and deprive him of his woman - I know I am being hard and bad, but I am looking at all the possibilities here.
