I was..   Written by Reeba (10/28/2005 10:10 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Lady Russell: Ch 24, penned by Cheryl
Are you new?

always of the opinion that Lady Russell was a good woman, and her love for Anne was greatly in her favour.

When she persuades Anne to break the engagement, it was in the belief that it was good for Anne, and not because she wanted her way, or wanted to dominate.
She was proved wrong, and accepts it graciously. This makes her better and better IMO.

I love her for loving Anne.
