Week 6 Haikus   Written by Cheryl (10/27/2005 12:57 a.m.)
Are you new?

We have some lovely poems for you this week, sure to wring sighs from the most hardened of hearts. But then, who could read Persuasion and come out of it with a hard heart?

Send me your votes by midnight Saturday, Pemberley time (US Eastern). My email address is clsneed@ix.netcom.com or just click on my name above.

  1. Oh my dearest Anne,
You pierce my soul! Can it be,
    Your heart is still mine?

  2. Ardent, glowing eyes
    Passionate, pleading letter
    Embers stirred to flame.

  3. No steps happier
than Anne's and those of Wentworth's
    on the gravel walk.

  4. You pierce my soul so,
I have loved none else but you,
    Be mine forever.

  5. Letter left behind
Dear Anne, you have pierced my soul
    Reply soon, Love Fred

  6. hearbreaking letter
yet such joy in its effect --
    reunited love

  7. You speak of Lost love
I must confess mine to you
    You smile, I am Found
