Mary

Very few characters created by JA are one-sided. But I can not like Mary and find no redeeming aspects to her character.

She fancies herself slighed so easily, has the Elliot pride and is always ill !

Are we supposed to like Mary ? I like Charles wonder if her knew what Mary was really like before he married her. I can not believe he did.
