I've gone all warm and fuzzy inside again after reading that!

One of my NCE essays points out that Anne in conversation says that the pen has always been in mens hands (allowing them to write lots of things about womans infidellity!) and at that moment the pen *is* in Captain Wentworth's hand! But then, of course, he drops it!

I's so glad JA rewrote the ending ;-)
