I would call it a good time! Yes, we only read of a few   Written by Annette J. (10/26/2005 5:03 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, So much attention?, penned by Tracy W
Are you new?

documented incidents where Lady R interfered, or attempted to interfere, in Anne's life, but my impression is these are not isolated incidents. She does have a special place in the family due to her relationship with Anne's late mother, but as I pointed out, Anne is now an adult, and it is time for the busybody to butt out. A private opinion is one thing, expressing it is another. I never give advice to people unless they specifically ask for it (and then I am very careful about what I say), and believe me, my son AND my daughter-in-law appreciate that fact!

I work with a Lady R. who is very good hearted woman in her 60s, but is constantly giving advice to her adult chidren -- she claims they love her "wisdom and common sense," but then she only quotes her daughters, and not her sons-in-law, who may have a different story to tell.
