I am working on a fan fiction project regarding Persuasion, expounding on a character within the story and I have had to repeat so little of JA's dialogue it is really amazing. This more than any of her novels is "interior" rather than dialogue driven. That it makes it particularly modern feeling to me and particularly difficult to adapt into a screenplay.
