may be aware that Anne does not regard her very warmingly - but Anne does not regard E or SW very warmly either. Mrs. Clay must know that Anne's opinion matters little at the house so I doubt she gives it much thought. I don't think Anne treats anyone in her household like she treats the Musgroves or the Crofts.

But I'm quite sure that Wentworth feels very much about Mr Elliot as Mr Knightly felt about Frank! Oh, the power of jealousy!
