Whether the Tea room the Ballroom or the Octogon were "the concert room" in Persuasion? I have seen photos of three of these rooms set-up for concerts. It is nice to see that they are still used that way today.

All three of the rooms are beautiful in person. Though the pictures are lovely they do not do them justice. The scale of the ballroom in particular is quite mind boggling. It is almost impossible to imagine the sort of shoulder to shoulder crush described in Northanger Abbey, given the sheer size of these spaces.
