I agree, Mary T. I think it is the two Uppercross families Written by Annette J. (10/16/2005 7:59 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Ch. 5- I have always thought that, penned by Merry T.

that run in and out of each other's houses at all hours. I cannot see Elizabeth or her father permitting such informality, even from members of the family. And when Charles, Mary, and the Musgroves engage Anne in conversation about the children's behavior, Sir Walter is never mentioned in the mix.
