Well, Anne was the first women that CB felt he could truly communicate with for a long time. I wouldn't blame him for wanting to talk to her again. He could be described as a man coming out of the fog of grief. This does not mean he is attracted to Anne or that he wants to marry her, nor does it say anthing about his feelings for Fanny...
