Guarding the little Harvilles   Written by Line (10/13/2005 12:24 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, A Noisy Christmas, penned by Cheryl
Are you new?

I love this scene too, including this line: "Immediately surrounding Mrs. Musgrove were the little Harvilles, whom she was sedulously guarding from the tyranny of the two children from the Cottage, *expressly arrived to amuse them*." I can just picture Mary grabbing this opportunity to get her children out from underfoot, and then patting herself on the back for being so kind and thoughtful as to provide this "treat" for the Harvilles!

How young are the little Harvilles supposed to be, though, if they can be tyrannized by boys who are only two and three years old? (At least little Charles seems to have made a complete recovery!)
