Adaptations   Written by Jenny Allan (10/12/2005 6:38 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Urg! Annoyances with the regency era, penned by helena6
Are you new?

In P2 Charles Hayter becomes "Henry Hayter" which has a nice ring to it. And little Charles is only referred to as "the boy" and "your son and heir."

In S&S2 John Willoughby's name gets changed so as to not confuse him with John Dashwood and Sir John Middleton, who is always referred to as "Sir John." As Emma Thompson said in the commentary to that movie, "too many Johns."
