"with all the Marys and Elizabeths they had married"   Written by Margaret 7 (10/12/2005 4:53 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, I agree, penned by Barbara
Are you new?

look at JA's introductory remarks in chapter one. Though she's listing female names, I think she'd feel the same about the male names!

I haven't been on the board due to traveling to the funeral of my dear Uncle John, son of John, father of John, uncle to THREE Johns. And his lovely sisters, my aunts, who blindly went and married men named John (though, thank heaven, one varies that with "Jack"), and named their sons John. Not to mention Cathy and Craig, who named their son and daughter Cathy and Craig, or Mary and Paul, who named their son Paul (but their daughter is Megan...whew!).

My kids were beside themselves with glee, trying to count up all the Johns. We think there are 11, if we don't go to great grandchildren! I think we've got you beat, Cheryl.
