Are you new?

I did some research on regency era libraries and found a reference comparing them to modern-day American drugstores w/ various dry goods etc. I can't remember which from where, but my sources were THE WRITER'S GUIDE TO EVERYDAY LIFE IN REGENCY AND VICTORIAN ENGLAND FROM 1811-1901 by Kristine Hughes; LIFE IN GEORGIAN ENGLAND by E. N. Williams, LIFE IN REGENCY ENGLAND by R. J. White, WHAT JANE AUSTEN ATE AND CHARLES DICKENS KNEW by Daniel Poole. The following websites also had interesting data:

www.londonancestor.com
www.hatchards.co.uk
www.georgianindex.net
www.independentlibraries.co.uk
