M.N.A.S.U.T.H?   Written by Barbara (10/10/2005 12:39 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Mary is quite put out!, penned by Robbin
Are you new?

I think Mary could use a SUTH every now and then. This chapter was full of reasons why. There is also the fact that she was enjoying herself and treated the whole stay in Lyme as a holiday--seabathing, shopping, visiting the library and church, etc.

I have a t-shirt my brother gave me as a baby gift. It has a large baby in the middle, and everything is orbiting around it: mom, dad, house, etc. The caption reads "The Universe according to Baby". I think a similar one with "The Universe according to Mary Musgrove" would be most apt. It's ALL ABOUT MARY.

I'm still inclined to think that Charles could pay a little more attention to her and the boys, but really, after reading this chapter especially, I think he has the patience of a saint to put up with her with such good humour.
