Are you new?

...what's so bad about Louisa (that Lady Russell would know) that she's not good enough for someone who's not good enough for Anne? Louisa is pretty, educated, from a good family, etc. Why the contempt?

Lady Russell did not think Wentworth worthy of her dear Anne, yet she does not think a woman who she would have been willing to see as Anne's sister is unworthy of the captain?
