Are you new?

I have always assumed that the notes from Lyme were from Mary or one of the other Musgroves. Why do you think Frederick wrote them, please ma'am? I thought he just delivered them. You know, riding over on purpose to deliver notes and news on days when the post would be too slow. If he wrote them they would be like Harriet's court plaster, stored in a most precious treasures location! I cannot imagine that she would not have known his handwriting intimately, signed or not...? Now I am puzzled and must go pore over the book.
