I hope I am not imposing on him   Written by Mary Ellen (10/7/2005 3:17 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Ooh, Mary Ellen!, penned by Cheryl
Are you new?

He knows that I'm enjoying reading the book aloud to him and he has been a good sport, but I'm not entirely convinced that he is as excited about reading the next 4 chapters as I am.

DH accompanied me on my entry into JA obsession. We watched P&P2 together last year, each for the first time. P&P2 has a strong Darcy POV, or at least, more than the novel. I think he related to the proper and reserved Darcy. He did read the book out of curiosity, but is not inclined to pick up others.

Cheryl, you are quite right that CW did look right to her for help. I had forgotten that. I'm not so careful a reader, or a reviewer. My cover is blown!

But... it is a little different. They are all in a panic. He looks to her, but she has not time to reflect on this. All must be done quickly. When he looks to her later at the Harvels' (sp?) home, she has that moment before replying to experience some feeling.

(Looking back over the above, I see that I even enter Pemberley with a different way of speaking... 'she has not time'?)
