And yet another exquisite thing about this scene is that it's really just the two of them - Henrietta, to all intents and purposes is hopefully asleep in the corner with her shawl over her face. There's no one there to get in the way or temper CW's appeal. His attention is fixed on Anne, as hers is on him.
