Vocabulary changes and reading alound   Written by JennyAllan (10/6/2005 1:40 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Ooh, Mary Ellen!, penned by Cheryl
Are you new?

I used the word "sanguine" the other day in a sentence at work. My co-worker looked at me sideways.

I'm not reading it aloud, but it's amazing how the language works itself unconciously into daily speech.

I am enjoying hearing your husbands commentary as the story goes along. Mine has read Persuasion, and I've tried to get him to tell me what he thinks Wentworth is thinking in various places, but it's tough since it was a while ago that he read it.
