Interesting   Written by helena6 (10/5/2005 12:44 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, A bit of symbolism here?, penned by Joan Ellen
Are you new?

This is an interesting idea.

But I think that Louisa jumps twice is significant. Once is a youthful flight of fancy, twice shows a somewhat silly nature.

Lousia tempts fate and Anne might have won out if she had only taken that one risk and been prudent about other things.

She a normally steady person who fell in love quickly but could have sustained herself during any hardships to follow.

Perhaps Louisa is supposed to be an impulsive person who is neither so stong nor so steady as she thinks herself to be.
