in consequence of the missive, Anne's impression of Mr Elliot, penned by Cheryl
I think Anne must be a little giddy from being out in the world—being rebloomed by the fine wind, being seen, being admired by Mr. Elliot twice and Captain Wentworth once and listened to by Captain Benwick and complemented by Capt Harville and confided in and amused by Henrietta or she would question why a man who was reputed to have “spoken most disrespectfully of them all, most slightingly and contemptuously of the very blood he belonged to, and the honours which were hereafter to be his own.” (Chapter 1) would now being riding around in a curricle with a coat of arms and a potential liveried servant and not rely solely upon a gentleman-like appearance.
