Such a rep!   Written by Cheryl (10/4/2005 11:23 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Hurrah, finally a SUTH from Cheryl!, penned by Jenny Allan
Are you new?

You must have been away when I gave one to Elizabeth for her "nobody will want her is Bath" comment. Ooh, she's so hateful! (In my best Leena Lamont imitation) "I cain' stan' 'er!"

It never occurred to me to think that Mary could be jealous of Anne and Charles being together. I can't see it myself. She's had years to observe the two together in close company, and I'm sure they've given her no reason to be concerned. Though Mary doesn't need a reason for many of the things she does...

I've often wondered if she even knew that Charles has proposed to Anne first. Anne certainly didn't mention it to anyone but Lady Russell. The Musgroves know, but I can see that it might not be something they'd talk about in front of Mary.

I'll have to think on it some more. ;-)
