Some good points   Written by Jenny Allan (10/3/2005 5:48 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Haunted by Kellynch, penned by Kalyn
Are you new?

Oh, I absolutely agree that CW had to have had at least a few triumphant moments, especially when he learned that the proud Sir Walter had been forced to rent out his house.

"(which would remind him of his broken heart even more than her house would), and, if uncomfortable at Kellynch, he could have reverted to his original plan and gone to see his brother the curate. And yet he stays on at Kellynch, and goes to Uppercross daily..."

Good points. I'll have to think some more on this. Of course, if he were really so disturbed by memories of Anne, then he could have gone off and stayed with his brother right away. You are aboslutely right.

Captain Wentworth is a puzzle. The more I try to figure him out the more flumoxed, I get.
