Bingley and Darcy and libraries   Written by Kalyn (9/30/2005 4:24 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Reading and Charles Musgrove, penned by helena6
Are you new?

No, we don't know Bingley's habits exactly--but Caroline encourages him to build a library much like Darcy's, and laments that their father never purchased many books. Also, in the evenings that Lizzie spends at Netherfield when Jane is ill, he does not choose a book (and Caroline only does because her book is the second volume of Darcy's!). I was basing my opinon on these interactions, but there is no absolute proof.
