Haiku   Written by Cheryl (9/30/2005 11:25 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, And at the risk of sounding stupid..., penned by Deborah d'Bajor
Are you new?

Haiku is a form of Japanese poetry made of three lines and using the metrical structure of 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables. Because they are so succinct, they are both easy, and hard, to write, but when done well, wonderfully funny.

In fact, I dug up and old email I'd received on computer error haiku that had me in stitches. I'll post them at Ramble if you'd like to head over there to read them. ;-)

And, here's a link to more info on haiku.
