What is a clumsy wrist?   Written by Line (9/28/2005 9:23 p.m.)
Are you new?

One of Sir Walter's criticisms of Mrs. Clay in ch.5 is that she has "a clumsy wrist". I can't quite figure out what that means. Does he mean that she is actually clumsy in her movements, or that she is raw-boned, or something else?
