Giving up the chair at the piano   Written by James S. (9/28/2005 2:40 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Buwahahaha!!, penned by Cheryl
Are you new?

Anne sees it as "cold ... ceremonious grace," when W jumps out of his seat at the piano as she walks over.

But he is aware of where she is in the room, and what she is doing, at all times. Like the true man-servant of Love that he is. If Anne weren't under the cloud of her low self-esteem, she would interpret the signs in a more positive light. But she has been told, and shown repeatedly, by her family that she is ugly, awkward and clumsy.
