CW in a pickle   Written by James S. (9/28/2005 2:23 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, LOL! That would be something to see! nfm, penned by Annette J.
Are you new?

Yes, point well taken. It's unrealistic to expect Anne to send out a messenger. Not with that nightmare family of hers. But can you imagine Wentworth returning and being dumped a second time? Or sending out a messenger of his own, while at sea?

Messenger: "Sir, you wish me to endeavor to discover if the Lady who has spurned your full proposal would like to reinact the episode?"

He'd have to be SOME friend. Both Anne and Wentworth are caught in the prison of etiquette.
