Upon rereading that passage there seems to be Written by Annette J. (9/28/2005 4:29 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Anne's rejection as an act of self-sacrifice, penned by Kim in AK

more to the notion that Anne was actually performing an act of self-sacrifice by breaking off the relationship than I realized. It makes me dislike the manipulative Lady R even more to think that she could convince the poor girl that she was doing the right thing!
