Captain Wentworth's prize   Written by Linden (9/27/2005 4:20 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, From the L&T Archives, penned by Linden
Are you new?

... and here is Captain Everett's excellent post from the L&T archives, which shows that Captain Wentworth very gallant indeed to capture a frigate with a worn-out sloop.

The Musgroves (with their brand-new Navy List) probably don't realise quite how brave he was, but Anne does -- and no wonder she shudders; she sent him off in a death-or-glory mood and it was very nearly death rather than glory.
