Well... I don't mean to say she never left the house in Written by Emmy (9/24/2005 2:10 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, I say that because, penned by MaryAnn K.

7 years... I just interpreted it that she didn't "travel" anywhere as in Bath (except for the one trip), London, etc., etc.

Didn't CW's brother live nearby? I'm not sure if it's ever mentioned how far away Monkford is (if it is, I can't recall it, then again, I only got 5 out of 10 on the trivia quiz so clearly I am not paying close enough attention!).

CM only lived 3 miles away,so I'd still consider that in her neighborhood.
