The solicitous Mr. Sheppard   Written by helena6 (9/22/2005 7:51 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Oh, but I must defend!, penned by Robbin
Are you new?

Beware of modeling agencies and lawyers. The man is just doing his job.

But I like the pun! He is solicitous - that is his job. To take care of the business of his clients and keep them happy. Oh flattery is one of the ways.

An attorney or solicitor cannot stand apart in the lofty world of pure law as a barrister can. He must go out and find business.

I quite admire him. He keeps his opinions to himself and does his best at his job. He's not there to be Sir Walter's friend.
