The state of matrimony   Written by Maisy (9/22/2005 9:27 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, What does Lady Russell fear?, penned by Laura R
Are you new?

LR fears that Anne will never marry. She believes that Anne is "peculiarly fitted by her warm affections and domestic habits" to the role of wife and mother. She wants to see Anne settled and secure.
